Empowered Learner Education Centre was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to provide affordable and effective academic support for students eager to thrive in an online learning environment.

While many centres focus on in-person tutoring, Empowered Learner collaborates with ex-MOE teachers to offer affordable and high-quality courses, programmes and resources that equip students with the skills they need to succeed independently, all from the comfort of their homes.
Proven Education Solutions
Our founder, Ms Ong, is a former banking professional and adjunct lecturer who boldly stepped away from her career to focus on raising her three children. Over the past 12 years, she has immersed herself in education, regularly engaging with teachers and educators to develop unique teaching methods tailored to the learning styles of primary school children.
With dedication and commitment, she guided her three children to become top PSLE performers, with all of them gaining admission to top IP secondary schools with entry cut-off points ranging from AL4 to AL6. Through this personal journey, Ms Ong gained valuable insights into the academic challenges students face—and more importantly, how to help them overcome those hurdles with confidence.
Ms. Ong holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Economics from the National University of Singapore and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Institute of Systems Science (NUS-ISS). Driven by a passion for education and a belief that every child deserves a strong academic foundation, she founded Empowered Learner, an online tuition platform to support students from all walks of life.
