Empowered Learner Education Centre is an MOE-aligned tuition centre in Singapore, specialising in the primary school curriculum and PSLE preparation. We create affordable, high-quality courses and resources that help children study independently and do their best.

Empowered Learner was founded to provide affordable and effective academic support for students who are ready to thrive in an online learning environment.
While many centres focus on in-person tutoring, we work with ex-MOE teachers to create high-quality courses, programmes and resources. Each one is designed to build the skills children need to succeed on their own, at a price that keeps good support within reach of every family.

- 12 years working with teachers and educators on primary school learning
From the boardroom to the study table
Ms Ong began her career in banking and as an adjunct lecturer, before stepping away to focus on raising her three children. Over the past 12 years, she has immersed herself in education, working closely with teachers and educators to develop teaching methods suited to how primary school children learn.
She guided all three of her children to become top PSLE performers, and each gained admission to a top Integrated Programme (IP) secondary school, with cut-off points ranging from AL4 to AL6.
That journey gave her a clear view of the challenges students face, and of what actually helps them overcome those challenges with confidence. Believing that every child deserves a strong academic foundation, she founded Empowered Learner to make that support available to students from all walks of life.
